Lynette, that color is purple. The colors are purple, blue and green with lt tan stars. Purple is my favorite color, but I don't know if I like the purple border that much. I may contrast my choice in the binding, we'll see, I'm still undecided

Choice #6

Picture of the pattern. Sorry the flash makes a blob on the pattern. Took several pictures and they all turned out this way

Oh wow -- they are both just gorgeous. I really like them both!

well, now that I see it with the tan border...going to change my mind. I like the first one. The tan border just goes with both. To me, the tan goes with center, and the blue goes with center, but the tan goes better with the purple print border. that's my vote. good luck. btw, yours is prettier than the pattern. :D

I think you really need a narrow inner border to frame the actual quilt pattern because some of your border choices are also in blocks that touch the wider border and then they end up bleeding into the border.

Did that make any sense? I keep reading it, and I know what I mean. If anyone knows how to explain this better, please feel free to help me out! (LOL)

Anyway, I vote for the tan inner border with the number 1 larger border.

I like the black or red borders. I think the others are too busy and detract from the beautiful center.

 I agree with the small border maybe 2inch and then bind with the last blue. What are you going to back it with? The light color will make it very pretty with the blue binding showing on the edge

I agree with Izzy about it needing a smaller, lighter colored inner border. Then your choice for the outside border. If you do make the inner border, it just might make your decision easier. It might make one of those fabrics look so good that you will automatically pick it over the rest.

If you still can not decide after putting the inner border on the top, then just come back with updated photos and ask for opinions again.

I can back it with either the blue/green fabric in Choice #1 or the blue "stones" in Choice #6
