Another opinion here! I like the idea of the pink fabric in the block but a little narrower so as to not over power the blocks.

That sounds even more busy than the sashing you have now. The block is really pretty. One other option is to find another block to alternate and see if that gives you a secondary design.

When I choose fabrics, first I get the colors, light med and dk. Then I go back, and look at the prints. Do I have a small print, medium, and something that looks like a solid, or a larger print. So just as we have a contrast in light med dk, we have a contrast in the size of our prints.

yes, maybe a green or a shade darker pink. Try laying different fabrics along the blocks before you rip out the sashing. Barb

Blocks are beautiful, I am with the others, you need a solid for sashing. Great job.

I think that might be a good use of the fabric!! You could lay it out once your middle is done and see how it looks. :)

Cheers!

I agree sashing is great and the light green would pull the colors together

I tend to agree with DogHouseMom. I think more color for your sashing would make your blocks stand out more. Love your choice of fabics. And I rip alot too!!

Definitely a darker solid color sashing. The color depends on what color you want to bring out to highlight you room decor. You have lots of choices.
