The green one is really striking against the quilt. BTW, beautiful quilt and I love the colors.

Just wanted to say that I love that quilt; so beautiful. Colors are just wonderful. Whatever you decide will be right.

    I like both - so it's a toss-up!

ditto I like both borders. The green if you want an even brighter quilt. The purple softens it.

Do you want a purple quilt or a green quilt? Which border you choose will determine the color of the quilt. I personally prefer the green

The green definately would bring out this quilt top.

I cut the green last night, will sew it on when I get a chance.

    THANKS everyone for your input!!!!

Someone mentioned stretching, I've learned from this forum that starch helps hold the fabrics and it truly does help in the piecing.

Use the search function here for "starch", you'll find quite a bit of educational info!

I agree! I love purple but I really think in this case the green is better.

I'm drawn to the green, but using both purple and green in a pieced border would look just a equally as good...I think I would piece the border.....Great job BTW  Also if you want to soften up the quilt, the purple for the border seems to calm it.....
