Any ballpark figure would help. I'm not really that experienced in selling quilts.

It is 72x81 (fits Queen size beautifully)

Go on Etsy.com and look at some of the items there. It will give you some items to compare to. I figured out a price/sq inch for my quilts. I don't do applique, just patchwork. Your quilt is really beautiful and don't short change yourself on all the work you have done.

Thanks. I entered this one in the State Fair and it was appraised at $1500.00. $1800.00 after it received an honorable mention at the fair.

The State Fair quilt (Titled, Hummingbird Affair) was not as elaborate as the second one.

Minimum I would say $800.00 NO less than that. It is a lot of work. If you count the hours you spent doing it, I am sure it will be more than 80 hours. ($10.00 an hour)

Thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate it. I have looked at etsy.com and didn't see anything that is relative to this quilt.

Sorry I don't know how to price your quilt but I would imagine that it would go for a lot of money. It is beautiful. A lot of work went into it.

It is beautiful. I have no idea what it would cost to do so, but maybe you should get it appraised.

Very pretty quilt, and lots of great hand work! I have no idea as to a price, but perhaps check your area to see if others have anything for sale, prices, etc.
    Best to you!

Beautiful quilt and a lot of work! Where are you going to advertise it? Do you have a LQS that might hang it up with the price on it? If it was appraised at 1500 to 1800 I would try to go with that first, then if it doesn't sell in a reasonable amount of time, drop the price if you really need the moving money. I've seen quilts priced higher than that and not look near as intricate as yours.

    It is beautiful, well done.

As to what it is 'worth', you have indicated that you are keen to sell, so the question really is 'what will a buyer pay for it'. And only the buyer can answer that! An appraisal is all very well, but a sale is something else.

To get the best price I advise you to advertise it carefully, display it in public if possible and pitch it at high end purchasers, wherever they can be found near you.

I wish you a successful sale.
