I'm all for using color without fear. The red is very loud, and I think you might want to keep it out of the border, or use it for a narrow border inside a wider border of the navy.
Just my opinion...if your duaghter is allowed her two cents, she might feel completely different.
Isn't it great that we can lay out our blocks, snap a digital photo, change the blocks around, snap more photos, mess around with borders, snap more photos, and finalize a design without having to stitch or pin?!
