I am making a quilt for my nephew who I have never met. He is 2 years and 3 months old and we will be meeting in December this year for the very first time. They live in Singapore.

We lost mum about 6 weeks or so ago and I am making this quilt to occupy my thoughts and to try and 'heal' from all that has happened. Also, I wanted to have a unique present for him as he is my only nephew on my side of the family. My little nephew is very attached to his grandma and I am hoping that this quilt will help him with his loss too.

My sister has had a look at it (by email). She is so excited and asked me to post pictures of it here. I will post the completed quilt later on. I still have a few borders to complete. It is not prefect by any means.

I hope you like it. Thank you for taking the time.
