Keep plugging along. You are going to have a beautiful quilt at the end. And you can tell people how many pieces went into it and they will think you are a genius and a saint! LOL

Your quilt is going to be beautiful, If you are getting frustrated at times then you are taking the fun out of it for you. Why don't you just take a little break from it & make a small project then go back to it. If you aren't on a deadline like for a birthday or something then you have all the time in the world. Enjoy it!

You all are such encouragement to keep going! I just completed sewing all the triangle side sections together that were laid out in the first picture. That took a little over an hour just to get 11 blocks worth of them done.

Since I have two the same of every part (9-patch center, corner and side sections), I seperated them into two 24 block batches. I can now put these last 11 on the design wall and make sure everything is where I want it and get the first 24 blocks sewn together.

I have 24 of the side sections left to do (the stacks of strips in the picture) and that's IT for the next 24 blocks.

I posted a pic of the last completed top here http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-41723-1.htm
It's not quilted yet. I started to do it and I'm just not good enough on the longarm yet so I took it off the frame. I need more practice and will do a little quickie one next instead.

If I found a guy like the one in your avatar picture, I'd be in hiding, too!

It's going to be beautiful when you finish it. Keep going. I'm sure it will be worth it.
