    It looks wonderful! It's sort of a "controlled" string quilt using the black in the middle. Cream sashing to set off the darker part of the squares. All that gives it a very nice effect. Great job. Yes, it was a lot of work but well worth it as we all can see.

    Gotta love the string quilt. Yours is so pretty. I haven't done one in a year and I made myself promise not to start one till I finish up some of these other projects I got going. They are so fun to do and you just can't make a bad color choice!!! I can tell you love them too.

    Hi Ditter! I'm new on this board. I think your string quilt is just great. I'm just about to start one as a lap quilt for a present for my daughter-in-law and am so thankful for your pictures on how to finish it. Reading it in the quilting magazine was just a little mindboggling for me....
