Pretty, pretty! Haven't done a rail fence one like this, but I love the colors & how it turned out! Great job! What size are the blocks, & how wide are the strips, just curious...

pretty sure the strips are 1 1/2" and they graduate from light to dk... 5 colors... it was a pattern i saw in a book once and have made it before...
Once you stitch all the WOF strips together... you make your "block" cut the same as whatever that measurement is.. ie.. if 5 strips come out to 5"... you cut 5" blocks... am i making sense??? With this method.. it's a no brainer... strips.. to blocks... then place 1 vertical, 1 horizontal... creating the zig zag...

just had to add... here i was thinking... I'll just go back and stitch around the O.... ugh... no way... it was done before quilting.. won't make that mistake again... i'm now in the process of "picking" out all the dk. purple, will restitch with the same color as the quilting.... (hey, didn't like the dk purple anyway)

That is so pretty. Those colors are perfect for a little girl. So soft and sweet. I like your quilting too. Great job and thanks for sharing.

You could use a purple Sharpie if it really bothers you. It is a beautiful little quilt.
