I think I'll put a green border around the whole thing, like, maybe 3-4", and then bind in the printed fabric.

Hey boys can like pink too, MTP

Mel - I love your border idea - it'll really pull the colour out of the print. :D

 Yes, they're having a girl.

It took about half an hour to sew everything together, tomorrow I'm going to go buy the green border fabric :)

Absolutely perfect for a little girl (or big girl :)).
When are you going to start your baby quilt? :) (Congrats, by the way).

    Thanks!
Actually, I want to wait until my first ultrasound (20 weeks) at which point I should know the sex of the baby, then I will decide what kind of quilt I want to make. There are just too many for me to choose from right now, lol! When I give a quilt as a gift, the person gets what they get, and they're always thrilled with it, but when it's for myself, I actually have the choice of what kind of pattern and fabrics I can use... too much to choose from right now, I have to narrow it down still :)

Pretty and sweet--perfect for a baby girl! This may be her first quilt, but I'll bet it's not her last!
