Well, I asked, she bought it ( for only $3) a couple years ago at a car show flea market stand, they had a bunch of Grateful Dead items, the panal among the stuff. You might be able to find one on eBay-- search for grateful dead panels or fabrics

I checked eBay the panel is there. I think for $21 it is called a tie dyed tapestry in the listing.

Thanks for asking her. I was telling my hubby about it and we agreed she probably bought it at a concert. Flea market makes total sense. Not an everyday item :-) Don't know why I didn't think to "google" it.

Yes, Yes, Yes!! I, too, want to know where she got the panel! My daughter was married on 10/18 and their wedding was the Dio de las Muertos style - SHE wore a black wedding dress and HE wore a white shirt (with a sugar skull tie hanging out of his back pants pocket!) The most fabulous wedding I've ever seen or been too. I'd like to find that panel and make her a quilt out of it. I really like the way your friend put it together and your quilting is wonderful!!! Please post any info you can get from her on the panel. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You - Kwiltergirl
