Our guild is providing an initial stack of 60 quilts for a troubled kids residential home. I just got two tops done and ready to turn in. Used really cute gorilla fabric and banana fabric hopefully to give a smile.

I am working on another two totally different ones. Got all the fabric from Eleanor Burns sale barn in Paducah.

How wonderful! For some of those kids I'm sure that knowing someone cares, even a stranger, will make a huge difference in their troubled lives.

I was thinking the same thing as LoriE.
You never know how much something can affect someone else.

Darling quilts--I particularly like the pattern of the first one, very original and contemporary looking.

The kids are going to love these! :D

Don't you love Eleanor Burns fabric barn sales at the park?. I miss going to Paducah. Does she still have specific color
sales on specific days. (like green sales on Wed) or yellow
    on Thursday?

Eleanor Burns had color discounts, coupons all over town and the internet !!!!, end of bolt discounts, etc. I almost never paid the full $5. And each of the stores seemed to choose a different color each day.

She had everything (except solids) even Thimbleberries fabric.

best thing were her friendly assistants. Everyone was well trained and fast.
