I got a wonderful package from Connecting Threads yesterday. Fabric and my favorite thread. DGD was so excited because I am making her a Camping Quilt from this fabric. Her two favorite things in the the summer are sewing with grandma and camping. She loves the fabric. Hope I can come up with a great pattern. Any suggestions?

camping things Her favorites are the campfire and marshmallows

I love all of the neat fabric you received from Connecting Threads.
What a lovely quilt they are going to make. My two favorite patterns
are log cabin & D9P. I am sure what ever you chose, will be perfect.

That is some fantastic fabric!!! I just LOVE thread from Connecting Threads!! I can see why Granddaughter is so very excited!!

Here's a thought, I thought this was incredibly cool...you could make it "woodsy" instead of "hippie" :D

I love all of your fabrics! Maybe a log cabin as an earlier poster suggested, bordered by "bear paw" blocks?

You have enough colors, I would go with woven ribbons or prarie queen. Great fabrics :D

Oh, too cute! I would do strips around blocks using the 2 bigger prints for large- say 6 inch- center blocks and then making two narrower strips- say 2 inch- around each one using 2 of the other smaller prints. Kind of like a modified log cabin.
    (Hope I explained that right.)
Whatever you do it will be cute! I also like the bear paw idea.
