    That bag is very unique. and the fabric sets it off nicely. Is it the method of sewing two circles together, turning them, then stitching them together to form the faux cathedral windows? You've done a great job.

    You cut a circle, then place a square on a piece of wadding place in centre of square and then turn the edges of the circle in quarter of inch(do this first) then fold over on four sides.

    Beautiful! I googled Japanese folded patchwork and there are numerous sites and a couple of tutorials for those of you that are interested. One is "http://cheznaomi.blogspot.com"(okay that link doesn't work). Just google Japanese folded patchwork and you'll be able to see what I mean.

    What a novel little hand bag you have created. it has such a special look, like almost antique. Can't really describe what feeling it gives, but I sure do like it.
