What a nice quilt. I agree that perhaps some wavy lines. Try looking on the internet for "stippling quilting tutorial" I found a bunch of them. That may help. Keep learning.

This is a very pretty quilt especially for just your 3rd quilt. Good Job. No ideas for quilting this though.

I might follow the design of the fabrics on the blocks and SID the sashings.

This will be my third quilted quilt (I've tied a few, too), but so far all I have done is SID and straight lines. Thank you!

Sorry for the crappy cell phone picture.
First of all, I am always thrilled to hear a young person is into quilting, especially a student, because if you are finding time to quilt as a student, you are surely dedicated to the craft, and I love that ! There are not a lot of young people who are interested enough in the art of quilting to carry on the tradition, so bless you for being among those who do.

I really like your quilt and choice of fabric and color. As for the quilting, I think a meandering, curvy stitch would be quite nice with the straight lines of your quilt, but it will be pretty with whatever stitch you choose.

I SID for 12 quilts, it is easy but now like other ways ,my 1st was circles made by saucers/t plates/pudding plates/dinner and charger it was v effective and gave me confidence.
