A New Idea for Fleur-De-Lis Quilt

My four children all wanted a Fleur-De-Lis quilt but did not want the same identical pattern so here is another idea I came up with. I embroideried the fleur-de-lis on satin blocks. It is all Hand Quilted Hope you like it.

Wowee. That is beautiful. And so much work. And so dressy. I love it. They will too.

This is beautiful. What are the other fleur des lis quilt patterns? I would love to see them both? I have an UFO that is a fleur de lis quilt and just never seem to get back to working on it. Maybe next month.

That is just awesome. Do you use special needles when working on satin? I used satin on the back of a quilt one time and it turned out all snagged.
