What a beauty, you have a special family. I have been looking for a good feather weight to use in my camper. Maybe I could do something besides cut, and hand quilt or tie. Surely I could make a bigger mess than I do now, standing to eat is normal when the table is covered with an on going treasure. ;~}

Congratulations! She's a beauty! It looks like you have a centennial also (blue badge). That makes it even more special! Check out the book Featherweight 221 The Perfect Portable And Its Stitches Across History. Expanded Third Edition by Nancy Johnson-Srebro. This book will give you all the information you will need and then some. They are wonderful machines - I've adopted 6 of them and they all have something different and special about them. You will enjoy sewing on it - they sew like a dream!

Wow! How wonderful. Welcome to the FW club. I've had mine for just a few weeks and love her. And what a wonderful thing that it was originally bought for your mil by your dh and now it's passed to you.
