Default New Needle Case or Pinkeep

I'm updating my applique to go bag and some other items and thought I needed a new pinkeep since my last one is all 30s from the Dear Jane project. I still love it so it's in my home sewing kit. Anyway, I've chosen some of the Aneela Hoey fabrics and wanted it to coordinate so I whipped this up based on my old needle case/pinkeep tutorial. I'll add a photo of the first bag in another post since photos are limited to 5. I had fun doing it and look forward to some more goodies.

    Smile New Applique Go Bag

This is one of several bags I am making to update my to go sewing goodies. It was my very first zipper ever, so I'm a total novice at sewing...quilting is my jam but general sewing not so much. I'm hoping to fall in love with it through putting my favorite fabrics to practical application.

Cute little projects to pack and go. The zipper looks great.

Just last week I made one with the clear vinyl as a project bag. Your projects are wonderful.
I found the vinyl a little slippery to work with but it ended up okay.

What fun ideas. I sometimes wish I had a separate pouch for just the applique, I might do more that way. I tend to keep all the hand sewing things in the kit I carry with me and my sewing machine that goes on the road with me. Nicely made! great inspiration.

Very nice items you have made. I just watched a video yesterday on how to make the project bags but the zipper really made me think twice about trying that project. You did a great job on the zipper.
