This is the first quilt to be made on my new Janome MC6500P.. I had so much fun and seemed like things went twice as fast. LOL Love the clipping threads and the knee presser foot lifter. Doing the appliques was so much fun.. I think I had a smudge on part of lense on camera cause half the quilt not sharp, but you get the idea!.. Oh.. I have not quilted around the appliques... they are in a 6 inch block.. should I??

I appliqued the trucks.. I have an embroidery machine but wanted to so all on the Janome. No pattern just sort of laid out scrappy 2" squares in an Irish chain design. and appliques the 6 inch white squares.. to make it sort of more boyish.. the Whites are all a creamy color.. not bright white..
