    Default New quilt for me!!!

I decided to make a new quilt for me! I have been collecting fabrics for a long time to get just the right colors. Then I found the background fabric and it all came together, I have enough fat quarters for 2 quilts after I got done collecting and sorting them LOL. The name of the pattern is Emily's Wedding Quilt by Liz Porter. It is huge measuring 115 X 115 inches. It was challenging an fun. I am happy with the way it turned out. My hubby held it for the picture and apologizes for his short 'wing span' but you can get the idea.

Your quilt is so beautiful, Mary! I admire your courage to tackle one that big.

I was just thinking about you the other day as I looked at the round you made on my Round Robin quilt… all the sweet children holding hands.

Wow, that is BIG! Did you quilt that yourself? Makes my wrists hurt just looking at it.
All that being said, what a beautiful quilt it turned out to be.
