Hi Rose: The pattern is called Quilters Sewing Kit by Black Eyed Susan Designs. I picked it up at our LQS. The instructions aren't too bad, not hard to follow, they just assume you know some things. I modified it just a smidge. I didn't use the template for the thimble pocket, made my own. Also for pocket 3 at the bottom with the zipper. They say to sew it together wrong sides then turn. Don't, it will be too small for the placement. Just sew the top together wrong sides then flip and press. That way the pocket comes right to the edge of the large panel and when you sew the binding on it catches all the way around. I've made 3 and each time it gets easier. My first one I did a lot of ripping :)

You've certainly been busy! Love both the mini and the sewing kit!

Very nice. Thanks for sharing your wisdom for altering the pattern so it works easeir! It is always so helpful to get the tips before you try a pattern, or try to make something without the pattern! :?

Overlander, I love the oriental print and have been seeing a lot of it in Hobby Lobby --- I just didn't know what I would do with it. Now I have an idea. Thanks for the post
