Great kids!! Such quality time with grandma, having fun while learning something that they will be able to enjoy their whole life. Wonderful blocks and I love the grandson sewing and being proud of what he can do.

So glad to see youngsters learning to sew. I wish they had never take Home Ec out of the school curriculum. They did a fantastic job on their projects.

I can't imagine how much fun that must have been for you! So glad to see the skills being passed down to the newest generation.. Wonder what 'tools and notions' they will have when they are still sewing at our age?

I agree! What fun for all of you! You gave them a gift that will last. And, thinking that when we were their ages, we started with treadles, scissors, ... no rotaries, no embroidery machines, no computers, no long arms, ... Whatever new sewing and quilting toys they will have, I just hope they have as much fun and sense of achievement that we are having!
