The blue blenders (I think that's what it's called) really sets your Scrappy Quilt off. Have fun making more.

It's a pattern of my own making. For the pinwheels, I used:
    8 ea 4 1/2" x 2 1/2 in rectangles
    4 ea 2 1/2 in squares

I applied the 2 1/2 in squares to the corners of four of the rectangles to make the pinwheels, and sewed the rest of the rectangles to the pinwheels.

After that, I just cut the blue squares and set the pinwheels on point. I saw the red in the LQS, bought a yard of it, and added it as a border. really did the trick.

Since this was a "by the seat of my pants" quilt top, I really didn't have any ideas except I thought the only way to get all the blocks into a quilt top was with the blue. It was easier to set them this way instead of using a 2 1/2" sashing between.
