The black defines the the colorful jewels inside the diamonds. I like this effect. I've been collecting my used dryer sheets in an old tissue box for quite some time thinking I might get to another scrappy project on my bucket list. My fabric scraps are ready, I just need more hours in the day. Maybe I'll ask Santa to leave me a sewing elf!

here is my dumb question....are the dryer sheets "used" or right from the box.....I love the black strip, that makes it very dramatic. I want to do one, so should I start saving the used sheets or buy a box and use from there? thanks
