    Wink new top

here is the latest quilt top I have made. Had no pattern. Just wanted to make the stars. I used up all the material making the stars and didn't have enough to make a quilt, so I got to thinking about a applique block for the center. I am getting ready to quilt it. I hope to give it to my mother-in-law for her birthday. She will be 80. she still works 5 days a week. I hope she will like it. She is a great lady and I have been blessed for her to be my mother-in-law for the past 33years.

Beautiful quilt, your mil will love it. Imagine still working at her age, she's a wonder. You are so lucky to have each other.

    I love that. Classic.

Such a soft, dreamy-looking quilt. And the addition of that center block is genius! I know your MIL will love, love, love this -- more so because you made it for her!
