What a great idea for the grommets that are coming into style. I've only seen one purse made with them so far and I really like this idea. Very stylish!

Love it! Your fabric choice makes it look very fashionable and the leather strip is just the right touch, great job!
Can you make one for all of us??

Thanks ladies, the pattern is NewLook #6425 - the grommets I added they are not used in the pattern. I also added a zipper pocket on the inside.

Whoa Baby!! I Love this one. Where did you find the groments? I have been looking for these for a jacket.
The color and fabric is perfect for the summer. I think you nailed it to the tees.

I am in Canada and got them at Fabricland. Any drapery supply should have them as well as craft stores. Hope you all can find them.

Thank you, Bailey. I've just never seen them so large before. I'll be on the look out for them!

Love the bag. Great fabrics. I made one simular to that but it only has 4 grommets. The scary part was being that done with the purse then cutting holes in it. These bags are becoming quite popular and I've seen alot of quilt stores carrying the grommets now.
