Ok, here is a GREAT idea!
Just put it nicely in a box.
Put my name and address on it.
Go to post office and send it to me!

    I think it's beautiful!!!

And If you have any others you are tired of I can send you my address as well. I love it. I should do a scrappy quilt someday. I have plenty of pieces.

I have a friend that works for an organization that helps battered women. I think I will talk with him about whether they would like it.

this is a beautiful quilt and a wonderful way to use those bits and pieces.
it looks like the only color you had to buy was white. is that right? is this a pattern you can share with us? or would you rather keep it personal? how large was yours and did you edge it with a border? it looks like you could keep adding to it as pieces accumulate. yum!

I started this so long ago. I went looking for the pattern and I have no idea where it is. I may have shipped the magazine to my daughter who lives in the Philippines.

I would be glad to tell you what I did though.

The colored blocks are cut 2 inches. the white is cut 3 1/2" I sewed the colored corner to corner on the white. It is a little tricky laying them out. Lay them out before you just start chain sewing.

I will continue to look for the pattern but I didn't want to leave you if it is something you wanted to get started on.

This is really made from scraps except for the white. I use them as leaders for when I am working on other projects so it takes quite a while. Slow and steady. If you need more directions let me know.
