Thats lovely....can I come and have a rummage in your scrap bin please? lol! I made one like it a while back...but I used lilac where you used white!! There's a photo on here somewhere I think.

this is a beautiful quilt and a wonderful way to use those bits and pieces.
it looks like the only color you had to buy was white. is that right? is this a pattern you can share with us? or would you rather keep it personal? how large was yours and did you edge it with a border? it looks like you could keep adding to it as pieces accumulate. yum!

I started this so long ago. I went looking for the pattern and I have no idea where it is. I may have shipped the magazine to my daughter who lives in the Philippines.
I would be glad to tell you what I did though.
The colored blocks are cut 2 inches. the white is cut 3 1/2" I sewed the colored corner to corner on the white. It is a little tricky laying them out. Lay them out before you just start chain sewing.
I will continue to look for the pattern but I didn't want to leave you if it is something you wanted to get started on.
This is really made from scraps except for the white. I use them as leaders for when I am working on other projects so it takes quite a while. Slow and steady. If you need more directions let me know.
