    New wall hanging

Though I usually do bed size quilts, my sister bought a note card while we were on vacation a couple of years ago and I just knew it had to be a quilt. Well it is finally finished, after starting and stopping and restarting a number of times. Unfortunately I can't make out the signature of the artist who did the orignial card, will have to do some more research. Anyway I love how it turned out.

What exotic women! Looks like this one took a long time. Isn't it fun to find inspiration here, there, and everywhere? I'm sure you have its "home" all picked out. Beautiful work!

t really did turn out nicely. I like it a lot and impressed that you were able to reproduce the images from a card. I have a couple saved but haven't had courage to try yet.

Very nice! I have to wonder where are they going, and what are they talking about They seem so animated.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

I love it. So bright and beautiful. The name of it is perfect too. You can see they are trying to convince each other which way to go.

Lovely quilt -- I have some African fabrics that I've been waiting for inspiration as to what to do with. Hadn't thought of looking at cards....ideas come from all sorts of places, don't they?

I love it. I have been wanting to do a quilt with African prints. I will have to keep this one in mind.
