For the first time in three years I've finished the mystery quilt top on the same day we started it. I even had a little nap this afternoon. (You know 10 eastern standard time is sure early here in California!) Anyway, here's my finished top. Now to find something to back it and do all the rest of the stuff that comes with a new top. Oh, you know. Quilting, squaring it up, binding, hand work, that stuff!

    Thank you!

Started before the coffee kicked in! Whew! I only messed up a little bit (Cut one set too small!) Oh, well. There was extra fabric. Thank goodness!

Congratulations on keeping up with the mystery. It seems no matter how hard I sew, I always fall behind. This year I've been gallivanting about rather than sewing, so missed the mystery part. Maybe will make the quilt later. If I thought mine would be a lovely as yours, there would be no question at all!!

    Yvonne,

You did a great job. I really like the colors that you chose. Yes 7:00 is early, after staying up late, here in Utah it was 8:00 and I was just barely starting to move.

This is great. Looks much better than the drawn diagram photo on planetpatchwork's site. Good job.

Thank you for the sweet comments everyone. I believe the hardest part of this project was picking the fabric. It's working with value which I tend to find difficult.

This is where the pattern starts. The pattern will be up for a few more days, I imagine, but she will eventually take it down so gather the directions quick. It is a very quick pattern and the top can easily be finished in a day.

    Good job, Yvonne!
Here is mine, don't forget to put your picture over on the other thread, also ...
I added a bit to the original pattern because I need a bigger sized lap robe for my veterans

Omak, your quilt is great! I love the outside border. I'm not happy with the way the quilt pattern ended. I think I'll have to find a border for mine too. Thanks for sharing.

Well, don't forget that there is a binding to go on to is, so that is why the pattern ended, since the binding can count as a border if it is bold enough.
Thank you for the compliment. I can say that I did get this one day mystery done in record time for me ;-) :-P
