I started cutting and sewing and doing the math to make sure everything fit. This is what I came up with. It is not quilted yet and I think I will use the extra green fabric as binding, depending on what I put on the back. I had fun and it kept me busy this afternoon. The colors are actually brighter than the picture shows but you get the idea.

Great job on this panel, and making it your own. I love the multi-color border to brighten up the panel, and the colorful binding will be the perfect frame to finish it. Some child will love this. In the past I used panels to practice free motion quilting, using the lines to outline features and characters helped me with control. It was so much more fun that practicing on a muslin scrap.
