I like that comment--"new to the sport"!! Great work--this gives me hope for the day I get a long arm. Did you do a lot of FMQ before your long arm?? If this is the work you produce after just a few--just imagine what things will look like down the road!!

I am completely new to quilting period. I have helped cut and piece some charity quilts for my homemakers club but they were tied before I got my longarm. I've just wanted to quilt for years and have all these ideas and plans that I've carried around in my head. I am presently working on piecing my actual first quilt. It's a thank you to my husband for encouraging me to almost clean out our savings to buy the longarm. The problem is, I can dream up designs a lot faster than I can do them. I have a book of graph paper almost full of quilts. Now just to get going on them. Thank you for all your encouragement. It means a lot to me.My husband thinks that because I am really good @ sewing that the longarm should be a breeze but we all know that's not true.

Thanks to everyone for your kind remarks. You made my day. It gave me the encouragement I needed. I even organized my sewing/quilting room today.
