Newborn quilt for first Great-Grandchild
My granddaughter is due September 1st. She is having baby girl. I am soooo excited! I was so surprised when she said she was going to do a Care Bear theme. I purchased the the unfinished quilt top (32"x32") and put the rest together. I was going to put a label on it, but since she has "officially named" the baby twice, I may just put "???" on it! hahahaha
I have a yard another Care Bear fabric that I will put together hopefully this weekend. My only regret is that I didn't know how to sew when my granddaughter was born 22 years ago! Can you imagine?! I am on a sewing mission, 1 more quilt for the baby, 1-crocheted blanket, hooded towels, burp clothes(some with fabric, some embroidered), hand mittens, and crocheted booties, oh and I will try my hand at making her a skirt. A stocking is already made for the baby! Thanks for looking!!

Care Bear
My son (the grandfather to be) is 37 yrs old. I couldn't find any the fabric at the sewing stores, found some by luck on Etsy. Thank you for the warm wishes. I am really excited, I think we all are revved up to spoil!

I have a great grandson who will soon be 4. So much fun to have him around and he has a stack of quilts!❤️ Next will be a dinosaur quilt.. his new favorite thing. At Christmas time it was trucks and John Deere tractors. Lol. He keeps me busily sewing!
