Default newest Quilt of Valor

I just finished another Quilt of Valor. I really had to make myself finish this one, but it looks good. I find it very difficult to get enthused about red, white and blue quilts anymore. Not that I have made that many of them, but I sure would find it easier if veteran quilts were appropriate in my preferred color....purple...

Anyway, here it is. Our guild needs 50 Quilts of Valor by October. I figured starting early was a good idea. I figure I will make two more, but I have to be more in the mood, I guess. Maybe I started too early.

Thanks for looking.

Dina

I love the strong graphic quality and the fabrics you chose. Good job! What pattern did you use? I'm sure you're going to inspire a lot of us to make more Quilts of Valor. Thank you.

Seeing that veteran moved to tears when presented with your quilt will be very rewarding.

Beautiful quilt. Thanks for making it, even though you would like to work with other colors...

It is Double Slice Layer Cake from Missouri Star. I sure meant to include that in my information. Sorry.

Very pretty! Good job on the design. I understand what you mean about doing to many in the same color theme, especially when it is not your prefered colors to work with. I am sure this quilt will be very appreciated. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I have. I also feel a bit guilty about fussing about making a QOV. I should not have fussed. I am normally not a fussy person. I am trying to figure out how to add a sad face, but I can't. . Well, I managed to add a purple sort of sad face. Anyway, sorry for fussing about red, white, and blue...
