I really like the diaper bag look...

Great job!

Wonderful job! I had thought perhaps that's what you did :)

I wish I always had such good vision on modifying patterns...but alas, sometimes my 'vision' is blinded :)

How was the Margo bag to do? I have the pattern but haven't tried it yet.
I've made one and it was very easy. The zipper is a snap. Love the technique.
I too did one with the zipper, came out well, then I got to thinking couldnt you take her method of a zipper and add it to the bow tucks? You just need to add an inch and a half to the lining. I love lazygirls instructions very detailed with pictures.

The zipper is not too terrible but this one i had a little problem at the end. There is also directions for putting no zipper, I may try that next time.
Have made couple already, still 5 to go.....Christmas items.....zipper not to hard......after I put first one in 3rd time....reading one word at a time, looking at picture and having daughter double check it.....have also , made 2 with magnet snaps which I love...take your time with them and have fun, let zipper know WHO is boss.

Leah, I love it, I really hated to part with the black and white bag but on Sunday a lady from church bought it
