Excellent quilting! Some people think it is easier to baste a zipper to the quilt top and have the other side sewn onto the attaching canvas. I don't know if that idea will help you.

Thanks! Yes, I have been contemplating the zipper system, but the machine came with the Leader Grip system that is supposed to be so quick and easy, I'm trying to persevere with that to see if I can overcome the difficulty I'm having, thinking it's probably just my ineptness :-(.
