I love it!! I have made many quilts from cloth book panels and had so much fun. Like you, I love the idea that a child will have a bedtime book to snuggle in or to learn from. The first one I made was for my DGS. I used 4 different panels (colors, letters, numbers and shapes) in bright colors. The back was pieced from my DH's denim shirts (all very soft and worn, but still in good condition). It ended up as a play quilt that he could learn from.

That's so wonderful! I bet your grandson will love it for many years I took this quilt out last night to show my sister, and put it on the floor for my niece (18 months). She crawled right up and asked what all the pictures were and wanted me to read a couple of the panels. Looks like it's a winner!

I love this quilt. I have the same fabric and was going to make it into a quilt also. You made a cute quilt.
