    I made this pattern about 6 years ago as a quilt for my niece and enlarged it to queen size. Added a few more rows and some extra borders. It came out beautifully. You will love it when finished.

    I too will NEVER use batiks EVER again, they are unruly and stretch like HELL.

    I find them the opposite - as the thread count is higher, I find they stretch much less than regular quilting fabric and behave very well. :? Perhaps you were unlucky with the ones you used, perhaps give some more a try? :-)

    Great quilt BTW - love those wavey lines and the turtles are cuuuute. :-D
