What a clever idea. I can't imagine going anywhere without threads on my shirt, socks, slippers, or some kind of clothing. People would think I quit sewing.

My room is the size of a single car garage. Before we bought the house they had converted it to a room. When we bought the house we decided since it was so large it would be my sewing room. Now its being converted to a sewing studio. I have lots of ideas. And this is my chance to get them built in for me. lol So everything I've thought about, dreamed about, wished about is going to be put here. Its hard to be patient. But, its a chance of a lifetime as I see it, and I am willing to be patient. I think as long as I'm seeing progress though, I will be okay. lolOriginally Posted by redquilter
Can I ask how big your room is? It's fabulous and I can't wait to see the finished product.

What a wonderful opportunity to have such a good sized space and to be able to design it yourself. And having a handy hubby is such a bonus! Enjoy every wonderful moment in there.

What a wonderful sewing studio!! Your husband is a jewel - give him an extra hug for all of us out here!! I'm sure you will enjoy your sewing space for many years to come.
