Here is a scrappy quilt which I have been working on for several months now. It is adapted from Janine Holzman's design "North Pacific" which appeared in Quilter's Newsletter Magazine in sept. 2006. I chose lighter colors and a simpler border made out of 2.5" squares. It is 72" square. All fabrics were from my stash, and of course I didn't pare down my scraps nearly enough.

Absolutely beautiful and I really love your border with the boats and whales! Would love to add a border like that to a quilt some day. You did a fantastic job on the quilt including the colors.
