Your block is absolutely gorgeous, the colors just pop out at you. I bought a book last week on pp, and I looked at it last night again, and I thought to my self "What was I thinking?" I don't think I can do that, I guess you are right, just jump in and give it a try. We don't know what we are capable of until we try.Thank you for sharing with us.

I started a thread in Links & Resources with free curved piecing patterns for anyone wanting to have a go.

Learning Curved Piecing

My plan was to start out with gentler curves and work my way up to a New York Beauty block - so much for that

Oh what a pretty New york beauty! anything with spike or pointed, paper piecing is the best technique to use. The color are stunning!
