Default Not Glamorous but Useful(just like me)

Used our new camera to take the pictures. Finally got my feet wet and the software downloaded to get it in the computer. Sometimes getting me to use new technology is like dragging me kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

What you see at the top is the button hole to go over the latch in the back seat that let's the seat down to expand the trunk..we don't use it often unless we have to get some boards in or something too long for the trunk space. The quilt when fitted over the latch fits perfectly and is held in place firmly...Since we try to shop once a month in Springfield it covers the seat. When we have more than what will fit in the trunk we can stack it in on this and not ruin the seats. The blue front is a chenille fabric and the back is a rust velour. Wish I had used a polyester batting instead of cotton. It would have been fluffier but I didn't so it's a little wrinkly. Couldn't get a picture in the car... tried straddling the console but that didn't work out too well...LOL

Now with that finished I think I'm having Post Project Depression...LOL

Very great idea and they are so nice. Just get started on another project for the cure.
When I finish one quilt I start another.

I'm not really sure exactly what the blue is...just guessing but is a lot like the car interior...it was the end of a bolt on sale at 2.99 a yard and I didn't have a scrap of any kind left...

Thanks guys....

That is a great idea. My son uses one of those blankets the airlines give you. Cheap, but serviceable. Maybe I'll surprise him with one of these.
