Not a Jeweled Forest but a Christmas tree

I saw the Jeweled Forest that another member posted.

I did not buy the pattern, but found something free on line. Here is my quick rendition of the same. Also, this is my first paper piecing adventure. It took forever, but I am guessing with experience, it will go quicker.

    Anyway. here is my tree.

that is really cute! Looks very similar to
the Jewel Forest one! Paper piecing is fun,
the more you do, the quicker it goes!

Thanks Everyone! I was wondering if the star fabric was too much. It was just a test and I had the scraps of star fabric from an Advent calendar I was working on. Needless to say, I like it
