Here are two pairs of pants I made yesterday for two little girls who live in Haiti... they don't have much and my daughter asked me to use some of my stash - -- did I? NO!! I had to go out and buy some for them. The first one is of the pants and the second one is of the other two fabrics I'll be using today to make more for them - I'm just waiting to hem them after someone measures the length... I'll take them when I go next month.

It's funny how with ALL the fabric in our stashes we never seem to have just the right one for the project. Those are real cute! Love the stripes!

Thanks!! I am so glad I get to be there when they see them... she wanted to take them with her - I'm glad she bought the wrong size pattern ;)

How wonderful of you to make these pants for someone who will love them. I'm partial to the bee print in the second photo. I made a pillowcase from it, last Christmas, for my 16 year old grandson who hates bees. He even uses it.

All four pairs of pants are now made and ready to be hemmed. They did turn out cute - I'd love to make some dresses for them too - maybe I will!! Still have a couple of weeks before I leave to go there.
