    But I did work hard on weaving this chair bottom with mens neck ties. Am working on 2 more.

    Nice work! I think I have a rocking chair very much like that (black also), but not in as good shape. That makes a really nice seat!

    DARN!! And here I got rid of masses of my late DH's ties in a yard sale last summer.

    You did a marvelous job on this, it's something that I'd never have thought of. And they are so strong this will last as long as
    the wood part holds up.

    Congratulations on keeping those lovely ties from just taking up space in the closet. They are far too nice to hide them away and now you can show them off.

    I saw one of these at the Gwinnett Sewing and Quilt Show over the weekend. I thought it was one of the cutest things I've seen in a long time. It's so unique.
