I do plan to make a few more for gifts, and I think I'll probably add some batting to give it a little more bulk. It's a little flimsy for my liking, but I might have picked the wrong kind of interfacing (Haha! Just re-read the materials list and it actually calls for batting in the tutorial - just noticed, lol .) Guess I got those mixed up.

Oh, and another funny, while I'm at it...

See how all the thread is gooped up in spots, and thick looking like a little web of tangledness?

Yeah. I was threading the machine wrong. I wasn't putting the top thread between the tension plates, but IN FRONT of them. DH caught that one, so it's fixed now.

Good times. :P

You did a beautiful job!! I too have a FW I inherited a few years ago, but have yet to use it. It belonged to my Aunt.

I too make wallets. Is yours from a pattern you purchased or a free pattern found online? I really like how yours is made.
