I know what you mean about size of blocks of original......mine DJ is still a UFO, but I enlarged via the EQ program to 6 1/2" and that's still a challenge........love your Dear Jeanne, If I ever finish mine, I will name mine accordingly

Thanks for all the good will. I like it too! I think my good intentions of doing a real DJ were just that...intentions. But the Dear Jeanne still took awhile. But I am very pleased with her.

Lovely job on your Jeanne and such a great idea to use the larger blocks

Oh Jeanne, how fabulous.
I have a Dear Jenn quilt because that is me. It made up of 99 4" blocks that I customized. It was a very big undertaking, and like yours, is one of a kind! Your quilt is beautiful.
I'm happy to know that there is another "dear" quilt out there named after the maker, who happens to have a one-syllable name that starts with J.

Lovely interpretation of a Dear Jane. Having spent 7 years making mine - I know how time consuming it was. Yours is lovely. My DJ is linked in my signature below if you would care to have a look !
Congratulations.

Dear Jane's are so crammed together and it is hard to separate them in your mind, so you solved that problem and came up with a stunning quilt that shows each and every block to it's best advantage. What a great idea.
