Default Not sure what to do with this

I wanted to practice on my new sit down longarm machine, so I took some leftover black fabric and did some doodling. Under the light of the machine, all of the threads showed up well, but away from that bright light, some disappear. I don't know if I should trim and bind this for some use (like changing the oil in the car) or discard it. It was fun to do something with no purpose in mind, and it was fun practice, but now I don't know what to do with it. Suggestions?

OH don't toss. Something will come to mind for it's use. Hopefully soon!

If that is a 'practice piece' I can hardly wait to see the real thing!! That is beautiful work! As to what to do with it, make a hanging or a pillow top. Definitely not for oil changes!!

Looks like abstract/modern art to me. Bind it and hang it up somewhere.

Is it large enough to make a bag or purse out of it? It's too pretty to discard!

Don't discard it, hang it or save to use in another quilt project. I wish my "practice" pieces looked as good, maybe someday.

Maybe a tote or cover for your sewing machine?

If you have room in your sewing area it would make a great wall hanging for future inspiration as you decide on ideas for projects. Also love the idea of a purse or tote.

You could donate it to an animal shelter to be used for dog bedding, or if large enough (twin size) donate to shelter for humans.

I used practice pieces for a lot of things. They are great for pads between your china plates to keep them from getting scratched. I also put another piece of fabric on the top and bottom and reuse them for practice pieces. I've used them as dog beds, protective pads for furniture, pads for under my sewing machines, lot of uses. I wouldn't toss it out.
