Red face Not your traditional Hunter Star

I have seen the most gorgeous Hunter Star quilts in Red/White, Blue/White, Batik's etc. For some unknown reason I decided Yellow/Black was just going to be gorgeous.......I really had to force my self to finish it. It is just not to my taste but I persevered.

I love your quilt, especially the colours. The braided-look border really sets it off. Thank you for sharing.

I love the colors! I think the black makes the (gorgeous) points of the yellow look really crisp and clean, and it definitely showcases what a wonderful job you did with the pattern.

turned out great~ many people have trouble incorporating yellow into their quilts- making a 2 color quilt with yellow really show cases it. it is very dramatic.

I love your quilt. I have a black and white hunter star on the spare bed and have a peak every time I pass by the door, your yellow and black is even more pleasing. I especially like your border.

I also like it...but I would have trouble working on a two color quilt...because I am a scrappy person
