How did you know how much fabric to buy? I can't find it in any of the directions

There are different sizes in the design so it will depend on the size you stitch out. Plus it depends on the amount of blocks you want in the quilt and the layout. Remember to cut the background squares at least one inch larger. You need a half inch seam allowance for joining the squares.

Do you have an on line account with AG Designs? There are pdf files that show the cut sizes for a yard of fabric. You have to log-in to see them. Check the design files and see if there is a file called Fundamental Curriculum. It has helpful tips also.

These designs stitch out very nice and go pretty fast. I used a soft muslin like color for the blocks. Don't use color fabrics though as the faces will be that color. Lil Boy Blue had a blue face and I had to start over.
