My sister used that same fabric for a quilt for her DGS and she had the same problem. The original fabric almost made her crazy, so she took the blocks she had finished and made a medallion type quilt with them. It's cute, unique & her DGS loves it.

Amazing how different your fabric looks cut and placed. I see what you mean about driving your crazy. I have cateracts and it's hard for me to stay focused on the fabric.

It is amazing how pretty that fabric is working out in that pattern. You have given me courage to be a little brave when I pick out the fabric for mine. Is going to be beautiful when done.

Hard to believe it is the same fabric. I like it because I used that fabric to make motorcycle totes for my grandson.

Looks fantastic and I agree, a black border will really set it off.

I didn't like the fabric either and wouldn't have chosen it. However, your OBW blocks are beautiful. This will be a stunning quilt when you are done with it. I also don't always appreciate my quilts until I haven't seen them in awhile. Once completed you will be so proud of yourself for sticking with it!
